Agricultural & Village Economic Node Programme

The Agricultural & Village Economic Node Programme is designed to organise villages, farmers, land parcels, traditional authorities, community members, youth, graduates, CWP participants, training institutions, technical partners and offtakers into structured agricultural production clusters known as Village Economic Nodes (VENs). The purpose is to move communities from fragmented small-scale farming into coordinated, commercially viable agricultural production systems that can supply formal markets, agro-processors, retailers, exporters and public procurement channels.
CWP–MISA–SANRAL Vala Zonke Roads Programme
9 sub-programmes
The CWP–MISA–SANRAL Vala Zonke Roads Programme focuses on repairing, maintaining and improving local road infrastructure while creating practical training and employment pathways for CWP participants, TVET graduates, civil engineering students, construction trainees and local cooperatives. The programme uses real municipal road backlogs as live training and implementation sites.
Water Security & Sanitation Programme
The Water Security & Sanitation Programme focuses on helping municipalities, public institutions, businesses, schools, clinics, villages and communities reduce water losses, improve water access, repair water systems and address sanitation risks. It supports both infrastructure maintenance and public-health improvement.
Non-Revenue Electricity & Green Energy Programme

The Non-Revenue Electricity & Green Energy Programme focuses on reducing electricity losses, improving energy safety, mapping illegal connections, protecting municipal and utility infrastructure, supporting cable-theft response, and preparing communities for renewable-energy opportunities. It also helps municipalities, mines, schools, clinics, farms and community facilities understand where energy is being lost and where green-energy solutions can be introduced.
Net-Zero Waste Management Programme
The Net-Zero Waste Management Programme focuses on turning waste management into a structured environmental and economic development opportunity. It supports waste collection, recycling, sorting, composting, illegal-dumping removal, cleaning and greening, circular-economy enterprises, recycling centres and beneficiation of waste into useful products.
Early Childhood Development Support Programme
The Early Childhood Development Support Programme focuses on improving ECD centres, child wellbeing, learning environments, nutrition, safety, compliance and community support. It uses ECD centres as practical service-delivery and training sites where participants can support infrastructure, gardens, classroom assistance, administration, child development and community engagement.
Safety & Security Programme
The Safety & Security Programme focuses on improving community safety, public-space protection, worker safety, rural safety, transport-route safety and agricultural security through structured local safety teams, command centres, hotspot mapping and digital incident reporting. The programme supports prevention, visibility, reporting, community coordination, surveillance support and early-warning systems under the correct legal and municipal structures.
Commercial Food Safety & Local Business Compliance Programme
The Commercial Food Safety & Local Business Compliance Programme focuses on helping businesses, informal traders, food vendors, spaza shops, restaurants, agro-processors, cooperatives, SMMEs, public institutions and business chambers become more compliant, safer, more visible and better prepared for funding, procurement, tenders and market access. Local Emergency Protocol & Community Health Response Programme
The Local Emergency Protocol & Community Health Response Programme focuses on everyday emergency readiness, health and safety, first response, facility preparedness, event safety and community health coordination. It helps communities, schools, clinics, ECD centres, markets, worksites, farms, public facilities and municipalities develop practical emergency protocols and trained local first-response capacity.
Disaster Preparedness & Environmental Resilience Programme

The Disaster Preparedness & Environmental Resilience Programme focuses on early warning, crisis coordination, emergency response, post-disaster rehabilitation, infrastructure recovery, environmental restoration, food-system recovery and long-term climate resilience. It helps municipalities and communities respond to floods, droughts, fires, storms and infrastructure failures while building stronger systems for the future.
Mining Community Participation & Local Beneficiation Programme

The Mining Community Participation & Local Beneficiation Programme focuses on helping mining communities understand mining, participate in opportunities, monitor environmental impacts, prepare local businesses for procurement and develop beneficiation pathways. It supports mining literacy, local procurement, community engagement, environmental monitoring, rehabilitation, enterprise development and post-mining land-use planning.

The Post Opportunity & Employment Pathways Programme is the platform's opportunity marketplace layer. It allows partners, employers, municipalities, institutions, funders, NGOs, programme managers and government collaborators to post jobs, training, projects, funding opportunities, learnerships, apprenticeships, internships, youth opportunities, CWP opportunities, partner requests, bursaries, grants and cooperative opportunities. It acts as the connection point between skills, opportunities, employers, training providers, funders and programme implementers.
