Section 1

How the DVTS Institutional Model Works

The Dual Vocational Training System connects TVETs, universities, training providers, CWP participants, graduates, municipalities, community projects and industry partners into one practical training and implementation ecosystem.

Institutions provide learning, supervision, facilities, accreditation support, lecturers, students, alumni and technical capacity. We Earth connects these resources to real community projects, municipal workstreams, VEN sites and programme teams.

DVTS Participant Journey

01

Select Your Skill

Participants choose a skill area linked to national service delivery, infrastructure, agriculture, disaster response and local economic development needs.

02

Get Matched

The platform matches participants to a host institution, supervisor, programme, subprogramme and live community project near them.

03

Train on the Job

Participants gain practical work experience while completing accredited or structured learning through TVETs, universities or workplace-based learning partners.

04

Earn While You Learn

Participants may be linked to stipend-based work, CWP-linked work, or project-based funded opportunities depending on programme funding and placement rules.

05

Form a Cooperative

Graduates and participants may transition into cooperatives, local enterprises or implementation teams able to tender for municipal and community development work.
